My 2021 Masterpiece
Here she is in all of her glory! My 2021 masterpiece......
What’s better than decorating one tree a year? Decorating as many trees as you want! It’s a Tree-mendous idea and now it’s gone viral!
I don’t know about you guys, but Christmas trees are one of my favorite parts of the Christmas holiday season! I have always loved decorating my Christmas tree and of course shopping for all of the special ornaments. There is just something about seeing a big, dazzling, lit up pine tree with an abundance of beautiful decorations that fills my heart and makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
Sooo, let me share my crazy idea that has turned out to be a highlight of my year… 2018 was my first official Christmas in my new house. When January rolled around, I went to take my beautiful Christmas tree down and I was immediately sad. My house felt way too empty! What was going to be my warm bright welcome when I came home from a long day of work? I couldn’t imagine that corner without my tree and I couldn’t figure out what I wanted to put in its place yet as I was still decorating my new house. It was a little depressing and I thought to myself, “Screw it, why can’t I just leave it up? Maybe I’ll just decorate it for every holiday throughout the year!” So I did, and it turned out to be such a fun and creative outlet for me… and so started my “Holi-Trees”. It allowed me to display my expressive side in a way I don’t normally get to share. Each festive tree brought laughter, creativity, cheer and lots of memorable conversation starters. And in a way, Christmas never ended… it just changed colors! And I think that’s what counts, the spirit of Christmas and its meaning year round. Peace, Love and Joy.
Not only was 2019 a Tree-mendous year in business, health, and all of the other important things in life, but I have had a Tree-mendous time getting to share my imagination with you all. I have loved all of the feedback and it always made it even more fun to share the next tree. If you missed some throughout the year check them out, it may inspire you too!
And P.S. – I’ve decided to make that area a bar (something that will also bring me lots of joy) and will still allow room for my next tree!
Thanks for reading!
xoxo, Nadia

I don’t play around when it comes to game day. Scoring touchdowns in everything Real Estate and sports is my thing and this Holi-Tree is no different. It’s hard not to have football fever when tackling this kicker's corner…but no need to be on the defense, I’ve got all the teams in this huddle covered on my Holi-Tree! ...

There is so much color around the holiday it felt like a breath of fresh air to give my tree this clean white look. That doesn’t mean I kept it simple! It is full of beautiful poinsettia flowers and sits on a luxurious fur blanket. One of my favorites as it gives a classy & elegant vibe. ...
After doing all my Tree-mendous Holi-Trees, here are my Top 5 Tips: When it comes to decorating your tree, MORE is MORE! If you think you have enough decorations, you probably don’t!...
Love is in the air and it is ALL OVER this tree-mendous Valentine’s Day tree. I have to confess... when I did my first Valentine’s tree last year I was a little timid and shy, but not this year! If there is one thing I have learned, it is that you can’t have too much love in your life or on your tree. I stuck with a classic red and pink palette, filling every inch of this tree with bold decorations. Beautiful red roses fill the branches with romance, while adorable hanging love monkeys add a little whimsy. Cupid would be proud....
I present to you… Mardi Gras madness! I was surprised that when my Holi-Trees went viral, Mardi Gras was the most requested one for me to do next! Sooo… here she is in all her feathered glory!...
You don’t need the luck of the Irish to create a tree-mendous St. Paddy’s Day tree. What do you need? A lot of four-leaf clovers to transform your tree into the perfect leprechaun hang out. I used gold ribbon and twinkling lights to make the tree feel like there could be a treasure hidden in the branches. Decorating can be exhausting, so keep a box of Lucky Charms around for sustenance. For added health benefits, wash it down with a pint of Guinness. Top o’ the morning to my fellow tree-lovers....
Think the Fourth of July is reserved for outdoor celebrations? Take the party inside and light up your living room like a fireworks show. This star-spangled masterpiece is bursting to the brim with holiday pride. #roseintheUSA...
Happy Easter from me and my pastel work of art. Cuter than a bunny’s bottom, this tree is decorated for those of us with a sweet tooth. Candy filled eggs and fluffy peeps are everywhere. It wouldn’t be Easter without flowers and we have this tree covered....
RIP. Here lies a Christmas tree that will never die. It comes back to life again and again. For Halloween I had to let the spiders crawl all over and cover the tree in their silky web. A jack-o-lantern sits on the top of the tree for a bold pop of color. The tree skirt is, of course, a graveyard. ...
Everyone remembers their first love, and I certainly remember my first Valentine’s tree! My Christmas tree had just come down and there was a hole in my heart… a tree-shaped hole. Like any romantic, I knew what I had to do. I created garland from paper Candy Conversation hearts and wrapped my tree in love. A few bottles of champagne and a couple of boxes of chocolate later... my heart (and tree) were full again!...
I am so thankful for the tree-mendous opportunities I have in my life. Not only do I live in a beautiful area with amazing people, I have discovered a way to keep the holiday spirit going all year long. It’s my least favorite tree of the year – the Covid Tree. Yuck! Well, now you all know what I have been up to while we “stay-at-home”. I would have toilet-papered the tree, but I couldn’t find any in the stores. 😉 So many of you asked for this tree... I couldn’t resist and hope it gives you a chuckle while we all deal with this difficult time. Stay safe everyone!...
